A major workshop on natural resource conservation and awareness was organized by National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources, New Delhi at the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Alirajpur (Madhya Pradesh) on 14 November 2024. The Programme was conducted in coordination with Dr Rakesh Yadav, head and senior scientist Krishi Vigyan Kendra. More than 200 farmers were participated in the programme along with volunteer representatives. The chief guest of programme was Shri Nagar Singh Chauhan. District Panchayat resident Smt. Hajaribagh Kharat, District collector Dr Arvind Abhay Bedekar, Distict panchayat CEO and SDM Jobat were also present. ICAR- NBPGR,New Delhi representatives Dr Dinesh Prasad Semwal, Om Prakash Dhariwal and Dr Sadhana Maurya informed the farmers about the programme regarding technical information and natural resource conservation. At his occasion, some materials were also distributed by ICAR-NBPGR to farmers under TSP programme.
