Salient Achievements
- Technical assistance to the scientists during processing of the material in the Joint Inspection lab and Nematology section.
- A total of 6,43,885 samples of imported germplasm accessions for quarantine clearance including trial entries of various crops and their wild relatives were received and dispatched along with other staff of division.
- A total of 10,488 samples meant for export were received in the division were properly documented and dispatched along with other staff of division.
- Seed health testing of 45,615 germplasm including cryo samples received and dispatched for pest-free conservation along with other staff of division.
- Prophylactic hot water treatment given to 22,273 samples of rice and dip treatment to vegetative propagules along with other staff of division.
- Assisted during salvaging of infected materials.
- Participated various PEQ inspections of different crops at indentor’s site.
