  • Prophylactic hot water treatment was given to 19,419 seed samples of paddy along with other colleagues of the Division.
  • Prophylactic fungicidal dip treatments were given to 9,745 vegetative propagules along with other colleagues of the Division.
  • A total of 4,073 samples of chilli and tomato were subjected to seed treatment with 10% tri- sodium orthophosphate.
  • 2,307 germplasm accessions of various exotic legumes were subjected to growing-on test in post-entry quarantine greenhouses and tested for viruses.
  • Thirty-seven viruses were intercepted in imported germplasm. In, which fifteen are not reported from India and fifteen are not reported on the host on which they were intercepted; hence they are of quarantine significance.
  • Harvest from virus-free legume plants was released to the indenters.
  • 45,589 samples of different agri-horticultural crops were received and processed for pest-free conservation along with other colleagues of the Division.
  • Undertook 25 Post-entry quarantine inspection of 27,259  samples of  imported germplasm / trial material grown at different places in the country of indenter’s site
