Salient Achievements

  • NBPGR-PDS:- NBPGR Passport Datasheet application developed for germplasm collectors who are collecting details from forest, village botanical areas. It is a data entry application where user collect crop records in a very reliable manner with photographs and live location. This application support 4.1 to 10 version android smartphones which include 95.8% users was validated by me also during the exploration tour. Application is fully published on Google Play Store.
  • NBPGR Plant Diversity using Mobile app with QR Code:- This would facilitate enhanced knowledge by creating awareness on inventorying of plants in the form of check-list with the botanical name and detailed notes, besides sensitizing staff, students and visitors. Added benefit remains fascination towards green wealth among the new generation. It support almost all android smartphones. Application carried 102 plant records with images which is available and maintained in NBPGR premises.
