- Protocol development and DNA fingerprinting services for molecular characterization, diversity analysis, identity testing, hybridity testing, seed purity testing etc. in crops such as cotton, linseed, peas, jute, maize, rice, wheat, lentil, bay-leaf, arecanut, datepalm, almond, sugarcane, perilla etc.
- Coordinating at the national level the DNA fingerprinting services to public and private sector organizations
- Teaching post-graduate students of ICAR-Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi
- Training and generating human resource in the field of DNA fingerprinting of crop plants
