  • Developed 6 protection technologies in Tomato, garden pea and maize.
  • Served as Co-developer of Maize AGRIDaksh: A Tool for Development of Online Expert System (http://expert.iasri.res.in/agridaksh).
  • Validated Innovative Extension Methodology of Farmers Field Schools (FFS) for creating mass awareness of IPM in 4 blocks of Almora district of UK and documented 3 success stories.
  • Served as Co-developer of 14 varieties of pulses; 5 varieties of oilseeds; 7 varieties of vegetables and 17 maize hybrids.
  • Registered 7 maize hybrids [DMRH 1301, DMRH 1305, DMRH 1308, DMRHP 1402, IMHB1532, IMHB1539, Ladhowal Popcorn Hybrid 3 (LPCH 3)] under Protection of Plant Varieties under The PPV& FR Act, 2001.
  • Registered 10 germplasm with disease resistance to TLB, MLB, PFSR with National GeneBank, ICAR-NBPGR, New Delhi.
  • Attended international programs viz.; Postdoctoral Research on Plant Biosecurity System of Australia, SABC, Murdoch University, WA, Australia and Marker Assisted Selection, Cornell University, Ithaca, New York, USA.
  • Presented 12 invited talks on biosecurity and disease management in maize.
  • Organised 11 trainings in areas of PGR, IPM and refresher courses for scientists and farmers.
  • Attended 12 trainings in areas of IPM, quarantine, IPR and MDP from various ICAR Institutes and SAUs.

  • Conferred Best Oral Presentation Award to the paper “Adoption of modules for management of banded leaf and sheath blight of maize in India” during IPS National e-Conference 2021.
  • Conferred “M.J. Narasimhan Medal Award” for the paper “Leaf stripping: an alternative strategy to manage banded leaf and sheath blight of maize” published in Indian Phytopathology during 2020.
  • Conferred Best Poster Award to the research paper entitled “Identification of genomic regions for Fusarium stalk rot resistance in tropical maize (Zea mays L.) using genome wide association study at 13th Asian Maize Conference and Expert Consultation on “Maize for Food, Feed, Nutrition and Environmental Security’’ held at Ludhiana, India, October 8‐10, 2018.
