As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada – 2025, with the theme Swachhata Hi Sewa 2025, a cleanliness drive was organized at the ICAR–NBPGR Pusa Farm, New Delhi. Staff members and farm workers actively participated in cleaning the premises, farm roads, and surrounding areas. Waste and plastic materials were collected and disposed of in a proper and safe manner, while biodegradable waste was disposed of in the FYM pit for recycling into farmyard manure.
The programme not only contributed to improving the farm environment but also spread awareness about the significance of cleanliness and responsible waste management. At the conclusion of the drive, all participants reaffirmed their commitment to uphold and promote the objectives of the Swachhata Hi Sewa Abhiyan.
