ICAR-NBPGR celebrated Nation’s 78th Independence Day at its Headquarter and across the 10 Regional Stations. The Hon’ble Director, Dr. Gyanendra Pratap Singh, hoisted the National Flag at the Headquarter followed by hoisting of flag at the Regional Stations by the OICs. Dr. G.P. Singh delivered an inspiring address to the staff commending them for their valuable contributions and encouraged them to take a more proactive role in addressing the challenges of ensuring food and nutritional security for the growing population in the coming years. The event concluded with a cultural program and distribution of sweets.
